Walls going UP!!!

Now come the time to raise the walls. They are about 150 pounds a piece so it was quite a load to lift and place them on the trailer. They ended up fitting perfectly. The plywood was cut to allow about a 1 inch lip on the bottom to help waterproof water coming up from the road. We placed some temporary braces to hold the walls in place till we were ready to put in the final bracing. To make in easier we build the walls on one trailer and rolled it up to the other so we didn't have to carry the walls far.

About Us

Hi I am Spiralelm and my wife Bird Lady.  This site is to share our adventure in building our retirement camper. After going to some RV shows we knew we just couldn't afford to buy a commercial one.  And we feel we can build one that is just as good for 1/3 of the price.

Philippians 3:14:  I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
